Meet Master Jeff Dunn

Jeff Dunn is the head instructor at Karate World in Kenilworth, NJ. Jeff Dunn began his martial art training in 1976 in Killeen, TX. He is a 6th Degree Black Belt under Great Grand Master Jhoon Rhee and is a 5th Degree Black Belt under Grand Master Jose Santamaria. He has trained in Muay Thai Kickboxing in Thailand and operates one of the largest schools on the East Coast. Master Dunn has 27 years of full time teaching experience.

Karate World opened in June of 1991. Its core art is the world famous Jhoon Rhee system of Tae Kwon Do. Grandmaster Jhoon Rhee is the “founding father” of Tae Kwon Do in the US, bringing it here in 1956. Karate World also offers Thai Kickboxing for fitness and teaches 20 Kickboxing Classes per week! We have a 7,500 sq. foot facility with 3 training rooms. Karate World has produced over 50 AAU Junior Olympic Tae Kwon Do Gold Medalists and 2 North American Sport Karate World Champions.

Our staff here in Kenilworth, NJ has the confidence and belief that anyone can succeed in any of our programs while having a lot of fun doing so. Students will achieve many different skills and techniques and will feel a sense of accomplishment. Our academy specializes in Kids Martial Arts, Adult Martial Arts, and Fitness Kickboxing. We offer outstanding instruction and training for men, women, and children.
