Connection Speed: Start Real Player from the Start menu.
From the "Tools" menu select "Preferences".
On the left side of the dialog click "Connection"
Then on the right, check the value for "Normal" and make sure that it
matches your connection speed. You can manually set the value to
your connection speed. It's a good idea to press the "Test
Connection" button on the dialog to re-test your connection speed.
HINT: Try not to run "Test Connection" during Peak Internet
usage hours (6:pm - Midnight) because heavy internet traffic can cause
your connection speed to appear slower than it really is.
Video Bandwidth Support
(feedback): These first videos are packaged to
support only 56k dialup and 256k DSL/Cable in order to keep the file size
down. I will add different speeds if requested. For example:
if you have 128k DSL and the video quality is poor, then it's probably
playing at 56k. Drop me a line and tell me what kind of connection
you have and I'll add the speeds.
